During the pre-production phase of making this dramedy, I was excited about making something that felt fun while also hint at larger issues that exist in our divisive society. Controlling the balance of the two was the challenge I needed to figure out, but as long as we had our theme guiding us as our north star, I could allow my actors to do what they do best - create moments of truth in a completely fake setting.
