As a former high-level athlete, I was very drawn to the themes of this project. With each athlete on the brink of "stardom," it was important for me to capture the pursuit, commitment, and desperation these athletes carry within themselves to fulfill their dreams. 

For these competitors, truly nothing is given, but there's no turning back for them either. So I wanted to embrace that by showing the moments people won't ever see including their raw moments in the heat of the battle, shining a light on the human behind the warrior.
